  • Testnet can be used with the exchanges/brokers supporting Testnet.

  • Note: Orders might be rejected due to a lack of liquidity on some symbols. BTC does usually have sufficient liquidity.

  • Testnet can be used to test the exchange/broker before opening an account.

  • The procedure to achieve a Testnet account is to sign up at the Testnet site and create the API keys. Then to add the API keys in Settings -> Broker Access in the IDE.

  • Binance Futures: (API keys at the bottom of the page).

  • ByBit Futures: (API keys in the user account menu).

  • The Testnet session is selected in the log-in window.
